Urology Specialists is seeking a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant to join our expanding clinical team. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, detail-oriented, and committed to patient care, teamwork, and clinical excellence.

In this role you will schedule appointments, collect histories, assist with exams, administer medications, perform basic lab tests, manage records, and educate patients while maintaining EMR accuracy and timely communication.

Qualifications

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) preferred.
• Experience in a medical office or specialty practice, preferably urology.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency with EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Schedules appointments, takes patient histories, and records vital signs.
• Assists providers during exams, prepares exam rooms, sterilizes instruments, explains procedures.
• Administers medications and immunizations as directed.
• Performs basic lab tests and phlebotomy, prepares specimens.
• Performs dressing changes, wound care, and suture removals.
• Maintains medical records and patient charts.
• Assists with patient education and preventative care information.
• Answers, triages and responds to calls and messages.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant to join our expanding clinical team of dedicated professionals. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate, detail-oriented individual with a commitment to patient care, teamwork, and clinical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Performs clinical duties in a medical setting, such as scheduling appointments, taking patient histories, and recording vital signs.
• Assist healthcare providers during medical exams, including preparing exam rooms, sterilizing medical instruments, and explaining procedures to patients.
• Administers medications and immunizations as directed by healthcare providers.
• Conducts basic laboratory tests and performs phlebotomy procedures, including collecting and preparing specimens for testing.
• Performs basic medical procedures, such as dressing changes, wound care, and suture removals.
• Manages and maintains medical records, including patient charts, test results, and other important medical information.
• Assists with patient education and provides information on medical conditions, treatment plans, and preventative care measures.
• Answers, triages and responds timely to calls and messages.
