Job summary

Ozarks Community Hospital in Gravette, AR, seeks a Medical Assistant (MA) for the GravetteClinic to provide patient care in the office setting under supervision.   • Must hold a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Recertification required before expiration throughout employment.
  • Float positions require a Valid Driver's License. This requires a Motor Vehicle Driving Record Background Check during onboarding and throughout employment.

Responsibilities

  • Provides patient care in the office setting under supervision of licensed personnel.
  • Maintains regulatory requirements, nursing and office policies, procedures and standards.
  • Communicates with physicians and team members about patient condition and test results.
  • Supports care reflecting initiative and responsibility expected in professional practice.

Ozarks Community Hospital (OCH), located in Gravette, AR, is seeking aMedical Assistant (MA)to join our GravetteClinic.

The Medical Assistant provides patient care in the office setting. Provides care that meets the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care; meets the communication needs of patient and family; provides care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations, under the supervision of a Licensed Practical Nurse, Registered Nurse and/or physician and clinic manager. Maintains regulatory requirements, nursing and office policies, procedures and standards. Communicates with physicians and team members about patient's clinical condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.

Requirements:
