Job summary

Ozarks Community Hospital, Gravette Clinic in Gravette, AR, is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our care team. The MA will provide patient care in the office setting under supervision of licensed staff and physician, supporting psychosocial, physical and communication needs.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1 year of related clinic or office experience preferred, and current BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• 1 year of related experience in a medical clinic or office (preferred).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross; recertification required during employment.
• Float positions require a Valid Driver's License and related driving record background check during onboarding.

Ozarks Community Hospital (OCH), located in Gravette, AR, is seeking aMedical Assistant (MA) to join our GravetteClinic.

The Medical Assistant provides patient care in the office setting. Provides care that meets the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care; meets the communication needs of patient and family; provides care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations, under the supervision of a Licensed Practical Nurse, Registered Nurse and/or physician and clinic manager. Maintains regulatory requirements, nursing and office policies, procedures and standards. Communicates with physicians and team members about patient's clinical condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.

Requirements:

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• 1 year of related experience working in a medical clinic or office, preferred.
• Must hold a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross. Recertification required before expiration throughout employment.
• Float positions require a Valid Driver's License.
• If float, valid Driver's License required. This requires a Motor Vehicle Driving Record Background Check to be completed during the onboarding new hire process and throughout employment.
