Job summary

Pride Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support a Gilbert, AZ medical facility. The position is a 3+ month contract with potential conversion based on performance and fit.

Schedule typically Monday–Friday with early hours; pay range $20–$23/hr on W2, with benefits and eligibility for permanent placement based on performance.

Qualifications

• Current Medical Assistant certification
• Current BLS certification
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Front desk: patient intake, scheduling, end-of-day batching
• Back office: rooming patients, taking vitals, medication reconciliation
• Administrative tasks: prior authorization and insurance eligibility

Job description

Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility in Gilbert, AZ (85234). This is a 3+ month contract assignment (convertible to permanent based on your work performance). and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organisation!

Specific Duties:

• Front desk- patient intake, scheduling, end-of-day batching back office- rooming patients, taking vials, medication reconcilliation, medical history intake, and IG medication administration, administrative tasks- prior authorization and insurance eligibility skills, liason between patients and provider communication

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of preferred experience
• High school graduate or GED equivalent
• Current, nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification
• Current BLS certification (through an approved American Heart Association Training Centre or the
• Proven good communication and customer service skills

What skills/attributes are nice to have, and will set a candidate apart?

• Basic computer literacy required, with intermediate Excel skills
• Knowledge of medical terminology required
• The ability to react calmly and effectively in emergencies is required
• Good communication and customer service skills required
• At least one year of experience as a Medical Assistant

• Job Type: 3+ months contract to hire
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:30 am- 4 pm or 7 am- 4:30 pm
• Office Hours: 6:30 am- 4 pm or 7 am- 4:30 pm
• Pay Range: $20-$23/hr. on W2
