Tri-City Cardiology Consultants PC seeks a Medical Assistant to support physicians in a fast-paced cardiology office. Responsibilities include chart prep, rooming, updating medications and histories, taking vital signs and EKGs, stocking exam rooms and supporting diagnostic testing.

Local travel between offices is required. Mon-Fri, 40 hours; option for 4x10s or 3x10s+2x5s; benefits begin first of the month following hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current BLS certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Verifies accurate chart prep before patient visit and follows MA rooming protocol.
• Obtains vital signs, EKGs and rhythm strips as needed.
• Updates patient medications, allergies, pharmacies, risk factors, social and family history.
• Stock, clean and maintains supply inventory in exam rooms and primary work areas.
• Cross train for additional diagnostic testing as needed.
