Job summary

ExperCARE in Jasper, Alabama is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our fast-paced clinic as a full-time team member. You will work closely with providers to deliver high-quality patient care and support a smooth clinic workflow.

The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, flexibility with shifts, and prior clinical experience. We offer a collaborative team environment with opportunities for growth and development.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Flexible availability including days, evenings, and weekends.
• Certified or licensed or eligible for certification/licensure.
• Ability to pass a background check at time of hire.
• Prior clinical experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform triage, vital signs, and patient history.
• Conduct EKGs and rapid lab testing.
• Perform venipuncture and administer injections.
• Assist providers with procedures and patient care.
• Manage patient call-backs and provide education.
• Set up and assist with sterile procedures.
• Maintain and stock exam rooms and supplies.
• Support occupational medicine services (drug screens, etc.).
• Contribute to a positive, efficient clinic environment.
