What You’ll Do

As a Medical Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting both patients and providers while helping ensure efficient clinical operations.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Prepare patients and exam rooms for appointments and procedures
  • Obtain and document patient histories, medications, and vital signs
  • Assist physicians and clinical staff during examinations and proceduresPerform clinical testing and other patient care support duties as assigned
  • Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow‑up care instructions
  • Maintain accurate patient records within the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
  • Clean, stock, and prepare exam rooms and clinical supplies
  • Coordinate patient flow and assist with scheduling as needed
  • Provide compassionate, professional communication to patients and team members

  • Medical Assistant certification preferred, but not always required depending on experience and state requirements
  • Previous healthcare or clinical experience preferred
