Job summary

Epiphany Dermatology is seeking a purpose-driven Medical Assistant to help deliver compassionate patient care in a fast-paced clinical setting. You will welcome patients, prep exam rooms, assist during procedures, and ensure accurate visit notes and smooth workflow.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a strong work ethic. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma and completion of an approved Medical Assistant program; visa sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a state-approved Medical Assistant program required.
• Employer may consider extensive experience in lieu of formal education where allowed by state law.

Responsibilities

• Provide the best patient experience by welcoming patients and preparing them for visits and answering care-related questions.
• Assist during procedures, capture visit notes, fulfill prescription orders, and support the provider to ensure smooth appointments.
• Maintain supplies and equipment, understand exam room flow, and find efficient ways to improve operations.
• Be a reliable teammate, stay organized, and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Support daily clinic functions as needed to keep the office running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

• Provide the best patient experience - from warmly welcoming patients and prepping them for their visit to thoughtfully answering their care-related questions.
• Act as the right hand to the provider, supporting hands-on patient care by assisting during procedures, capturing detailed visit notes, fulfilling prescription orders, and anything else needed to ensure the appointment is as smooth and complete as possible.
• Keep the clinic running smoothly by staying on top of supplies, maintaining equipment, understanding the flow of exam rooms, and finding fun, creative ways to work smarter and more efficiently.
• Be a reliable teammate by jumping in to help, keeping things organized, and contributing to a positive, supportive environment.

Qualifications/Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Successful completion of a state-approved Medical Assistant program. Employer may consider applicants based on extensive experience (unless required by state law).

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

Medical office, procedure/exam room and laboratory environment may include exposure to communicable diseases, bloodborne pathogens, biohazards or toxic substances. Daily activities may include standing, walking, sitting, bending and lifting items up to 30 lbs.
