The US Oncology Network is seeking a Medical Assistant in Elgin, IL. This full-time role supports physicians and clinicians with patient care duties in a clinical environment and helps manage patient flow and exams.
Responsibilities include taking vitals, assisting with procedures, administering injections, and handling phone calls and prescriptions as directed by physicians and RNs. CPR/BLS certified candidates preferred.

Hourly Rate: $19.00-$21.00

Under direct supervision, assists physicians and clinicians with patient care duties in a clinical environment. Promotes efficient patient flow and patient care, i.e. exams, and procedures. Performs clinic support tasks including miscellaneous clerical tasks, answering phones, and maintaining physician’s schedule. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
Escort patients to and from exam rooms, physician offices, and treatment room as appropriate.
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
High School diploma or GED
2 years experience as a Medical Assistant
CPR Certification required same as BLS
Phlebotomy skills highly desired
