Responsibilities

• Take vital signs and obtain 12‑lead EKG/ECG.
• Prepare for exams: record history, medications, and allergies.
• Set up and assist with procedures including nebulizer treatments and injections.
• Collect specimens (throat, urine) and label correctly.
• Perform lab tests (glucose, pregnancy, strep, dipstick/urinalysis).
• Assist with office duties and maintain supplies in EPIC charting.

Job Title: Medical Assistant

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Working hours: Day 4x10-Hour (07:45 - 18:15)
Total hours: 40

(Backfill for NS)

• Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) is REQUIRED; Cannot be a Medical Assistant-Registered (MA-R), Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist (MA-P), or Medical Assistant-Hemodialysis Technician (MA-HT).
• This position is open to LOCAL and NON-LOCAL (in WA state) candidates.
• There may be an opportunity to join this urgent care clinic permanently at the end of the contract if all goes well. If candidate is unwilling or unable to join the clinic permanently, they are not eligible and will be redirected.
