Job summary

Signature Medical Group in East Bridgewater, MA is seeking a Medical Assistant to join the Family Medicine clinic. This full-time role supports the clinic patient flow and delivers a broad range of health care services under the guidance of the patient care team.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent; CMA/RMA/CCMA certification and CPR/BLS are preferred or must be obtained within six months. One year of CMA experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Medical Assisting Program preferred.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), RMA, or CCMA certification preferred or eligible.
• CPR/BLS certification from American Heart Association.

The Medical Assistant is responsible for a variety of patient care, technical, and clerical related functions. The Medical Assistant is responsible for the clinic patient flow by assisting members of the patient care team and providing a broad range of health care services. As a member of the patient care team, the Medical Assistant is also aware of the psychosocial needs of patients and families. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Graduate of an approved Medical Assisting Program preferred. O ther education as approved by the DON. Work Experience: One (1) year of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant preferred butnot required. Certifications & Licenses: Certified as a CMA, RMA or CCMA or eligible for certification.
