Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Medical Assistant in Denison, TX to support physicians in examinations and treatments. This contract-full-time position offers 40 hours per week with a $21 per hour pay rate, and coverage includes benefits where applicable.

Responsibilities include assisting physicians, handling basic clerical tasks, and ensuring patient readiness and documentation. Prior MA certification or graduation is preferred, with CPR and health screenings as applicable.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or its equivalent.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program; certification preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Knowledge of medical procedures.
• Knowledge of clerical functions.
• Current CPR card (if applicable).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray (if applicable).
• Current Health Certificate (if applicable).
• Minimum of one year relevant experience preferred.
• Relevant certification/license if applicable.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
