Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Medical Assistant in Clayton, MO to support physicians in the examination and treatment of patients under supervision. This contract-full-time role includes a 40-hour work week and a pay rate of $25 per hour.

Required qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, knowledge of medical terminology, and familiarity with medical procedures. CPR certification is preferred, with additional certifications encouraged.

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Medical Assistant responsible for performing duties under the direction of a physician to assist inthe examination and treatment of patients.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma or its equivalent
• Good telephone communication skills
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Knowledge of medical procedures
• Knowledge of clerical functions
• Current CPR card (if applicable)
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray (if applicable)
• Current Health Certificate (if applicable)
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program; certification preferred
