Job summary

Healthy Connections, De Queen Clinic, De Queen, AR, is hiring a Medical Assistant (RMA) for a regular full-time role. The position offers Monday-Friday hours with no nights or weekends and a salary range of $18.00 to $21.00 per hour.

You will support providers in delivering quality primary care, perform direct patient care tasks, and help maintain a safe clinical environment while documenting vitals and updating records in the EHR system.

Qualifications

• Active certification as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required (American Heart or Red Cross).
• Experience in a busy outpatient clinic or similar healthcare setting preferred.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and basic MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers in delivering primary care and outpatient services to patients of all ages.
• Administer medications, document vitals, and assist with exams and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, efficient, and safe clinical environment.
• Maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Educate patients and families while supporting care coordination and follow-up.
• Serve as a connector between patients, providers, and support resources to enhance care outcomes.

What You’ll Do

• Support providers in delivering quality primary care and outpatient services to patients of all ages.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Occasionally participate in staff training, meetings, and patient outreach activities.

What You’ll Bring

• Active certification as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), required.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health records.
