Job summary

Mercy Medical Center in Maryland is actively seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team. The role involves rooming patients, taking vitals, entering data into EMR, and supporting procedures across satellite locations. A $1500 sign-on bonus is available for select positions through 2026-12-31.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of relevant experience; CPR is preferred. Travel to satellite sites is required, and benefits are offered based on FTE status.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain vitals.
• Enter patient information into EMR.
• Set up and assist with office procedures.
• Chaperone providers during examinations.
• Take pre-op and post-op photos.
• Maintain surgical instruments and transport to Central Sterile (CSS).
• Process surgical specimens and transport to Pathology.
• Maintain and stock exam rooms.
• Order clinical supplies.
• Complete FMLA and Disability forms.
• Clean and reset exam rooms.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and assisting with office procedures
• Chaperone providers during patient examination
• Taking pre-op and post-op photos of patients
• Maintaining surgical instruments and transporting instruments to Central Sterile (CSS)

• Maintaining and stocking exam rooms
• Ordering clinical supplies
• Completing FMLA and Disability forms
• Cleaning and resetting exam rooms
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Education and Work Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • A minimum of one year experience is preferred as a Medical Assistant or EMT-Paramedic
• Certification Requirements:
