Prime Healthcare's Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, IL is seeking a Medical Assistant for the Rural Health Clinic. This full-time, day-shift role supports physicians and the clinic team.

Responsibilities include assisting with patient care, handling clerical tasks, scheduling appointments and chart management, and guiding patients to fully utilize clinic services while upholding a positive image of the organization.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent or relevant experience required for new hires effective April 2014.
• Medical Assistant Certification, preferred.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum one year work experience in public contact job.
• Work experience in health care preferred.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $17.05 to $23.19. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
