Raleigh Medical Group, PA is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to join our Dermatology team in Cary, NC. The role supports providers and patients throughout visits, ensuring a positive patient experience and efficient clinic operations.

The ideal candidate is organized, team-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced clinical environment. In-office dermatology experience and EMR proficiency are preferred. This is an onsite, full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of Medical Assistant experience.
• Dermatology or outpatient clinical experience preferred.
• Experience with EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and room patients for examinations and dermatology visits.
• Obtain and document patient histories and vital signs.
• Assist providers during examinations and in-office procedures.
• Prepare patients and supplies for procedures and wound care.
• Administer medications as directed by the physician.
• Collect, label, and prepare laboratory or pathology specimens as needed.
• Document patient care, procedures, and results in the EMR.
• Assist with prescriptions, referrals, and follow-up as directed.
• Provide patient education under provider guidance.
