Raleigh Medical Group, PA is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for our Gastroenterology team in a fast-paced, in-office clinic. You will provide direct patient care, prepare patients for GI evaluations, document health information, and support physicians during procedures.

The role requires CMA certification, 1+ year in medical offices or clinics, and BLS. A strong team mindset and experience with EHRs are essential for smooth diagnostic workflows.

Qualifications

  • Current CMA certification from an accredited organization.
  • Minimum one year of medical office or clinical experience.
  • Experience utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
  • Preferred gastroenterology or specialty clinic experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provides direct patient care and clinical support as delegated by licensed staff.
  • Rooms and prepares patients for examinations and GI-related procedures.
  • Obtains medical histories, medications, allergies, vital signs, and GI health data.
  • Assists physicians during examinations and minor procedures.
