Nexus of Hope is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and organized Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our outpatient psychiatric care team in Burnsville, MN.
This position plays an important role in both the clinical and day-to-day operations of our practice. The Medical Assistant will work closely with our psychiatric providers and patients while also assisting with administrative and front desk responsibilities as needed. Because we are a small, collaborative team, we are looking for someone who is flexible, takes initiative, and is comfortable shifting between responsibilities based on the needs of the clinic.
A unique part of this position is the opportunity to receive training as a Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) Technician. Once trained, you will assist in administering prescribed TMS treatments to patients under the direction and supervision of our clinical providers.
This is a fully in-person position at our Burnsville clinic. Remote work is not available.

This position is performed primarily in a clean, professional outpatient medical office environment.
The employee must be able to communicate effectively with patients and coworkers and regularly use computers, phones, medical equipment, and other office tools. The position may require periods of sitting, standing, walking, reaching, bending, and other routine physical activity.
The employee must occasionally be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The role may involve exposure to bodily fluids and other typical healthcare workplace hazards. Employees are expected to follow all applicable safety, infection-control, and OSHA requirements.
