Job summary

US Foot & Ankle Specialists is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our podiatry practice. You will work alongside our podiatrists delivering hands-on patient care in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

We offer hands-on training, clinical development, and a starting pay of $22 per hour based on experience. If you thrive in a team environment and want to grow clinical skills, we'd love to meet you.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program OR 1+ year of clinical experience.
• CMA or RMA certification preferred.
• Experience with medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Welcome, room, and prepare patients for exams and in-office procedures.
• Take vitals, update medical histories, record medications/allergies, and document in the EMR.
• Assist physicians with minor procedures, post‑op care, digital X‑rays, and basic podiatric services.
• Apply dressings, DME, and provide patient instructions and education.
• Manage lab specimens, complete insurance verifications and pre‑authorizations, and process prescriptions as directed.
• Make post‑operative phone calls, answer patient questions, and provide excellent customer service.
• Open, prep, clean, and close exam rooms; sterilize instruments; manage inventory and supplies.
• Maintain accurate documentation, support back‑office operations, and ensure HIPAA compliance.

You’ll work alongside our podiatrists providing hands‑on patient care in a professional, fast‑paced outpatient setting. Hands‑on training and ongoing clinical training are provided, making this a great opportunity for an experienced Medical Assistant or someone looking to grow their clinical skills.

Pay: Starting at $22 per hour, based on experience
