Job summary

Columbia River Health in Oregon is seeking a Medical Assistant to support providers, nurses and the clinical team in patient rooming, intake, and basic procedures. You will help with point-of-care testing, immunisations and EHR documentation, while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

This role requires a high school diploma; preferred completion of an MA program and MA certification, CPR/BLS, and experience in medical offices or clinics with EHR systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of an accredited or recognised Medical Assistant training program is preferred.
• Medical Assistant certification or credentialing is preferred.
• Current BLS or CPR certification, which CRH may require depending on assigned duties.
• Experience with an electronic health record system is preferred.
• Prior experience in a medical office, physician practice, community health center, FQHC or urgent care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support providers, nurses and the clinical team in patient rooming and intake.
• Assist with clinical procedures, point-of-care testing, immunisation and medication workflows.
• Perform EHR documentation, patient education and care coordination as allowed by scope of practice.

Required:
