Supports providers, nurses and the clinical team in patient rooming and intake, clinical procedures, point-of-care testing, immunisation and medication workflows, EHR documentation, patient education, care coordination and population health. Performs only what training, competency, provider direction and scope of practice authorise.

Reports to: Clinic Operations Manager and/or Assigned Clinical Supervisor

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred:

• Completion of an accredited or recognised Medical Assistant training program
• Medical Assistant certification or credentialing
• Current BLS or CPR certification, which CRH may require depending on assigned duties
• Prior experience in a medical office, physician practice, community health center, FQHC or urgent care
• Experience with an electronic health record system
