Job description

Join to apply for the Medical Assistant role at Community Health Systems, Inc. (FQHC).

Prepare patients for clinic visits by ensuring chart readiness and draping patients prior to the Provider entering the exam room. Under supervision, the Medical Assistant will collect specimens, prepare them for laboratory analysis, run EKGs, perform diagnostic tests, and administer oral medications and injections as ordered. Review provider orders to ensure they are followed, and sign off after completion. Maintain internal and external Laboratory Logs, and ensure all referral requests are complete and accurate before submitting them to the Eligibility/Referral Clerk.
