Job summary

Addison Group is seeking a Medical Assistant on behalf of our client for a direct hire position in Atlanta, GA. The role involves patient care and administrative support, with travel between Buckhead and Roswell locations. Compensation ranges from $21.00 to $23.00 per hour.

The ideal candidate has MA experience, scribing exposure, and EMR familiarity; dermatology or aesthetics experience is highly desirable. This is a fast-paced clinical environment with opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Medical Assistant experience.
• Direct experience scribing alongside physicians in a high-volume clinical setting.
• Dermatology or aesthetics experience is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records; ModMed/EMA and real-time medical scribing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with the physician in a fast-paced environment to assist with patient examinations, minor procedures, and specialty treatments while maintaining clinic flow.
• Perform real-time medical scribing during provider encounters, documenting notes, diagnoses, treatment plans, and orders into the EMR.
• Room patients efficiently by gathering histories, recording vital signs, and pre-charting to prepare the provider for appointments.
• Manage administrative and clinical follow-up, including medication paperwork, prescription requests, patient messaging, and lab result communications.
• Support high-volume operations through rapid exam room turnarounds, inventory upkeep, phlebotomy, and floating between providers or clinic locations.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of Medical Assistant experience.

• Familiarity with electronic medical records; experience with ModMed/EMA and real-time medical scribing is a plus.
• Proven ability to thrive and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic clinical environment alongside attending providers.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) is preferred but not required.
