Cullman Regional Medical Center Inc seeks a frontline healthcare team member to deliver compassionate patient care in a busy clinical setting.

Responsibilities include triaging visits, collecting history and vitals, documenting allergies and medications, and assisting providers during exams while maintaining EMR and regulatory compliance.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in a clinical or hospital environment preferred.
• Knowledge of EMRs and regulatory practices.

• Document current medications and all allergies for each patient.

• Provide and record all medications and immunizations ordered by provider and given to the patient.
• Take patient specimen and conduct laboratory tests ordered by the provider.
• Stock rooms and take inventory; communicate needs to the manager.
• Perform administrative duties such as answering calls, returning calls, and verifying lab/x-ray reports are received.
• Knowledgeable of EMRs and regulatory practices.

Job Summary:Provide excellent customer service.Maintain safe, secure and heathy work environment by establishing and following policies and procedures.Determine if the purpose of the visit is urgent or emergent and should be taken directly to the ER.Prepare patient for exam by collecting medical history, vital signs and required clinical information.Document current medications and all allergies for each patient.Assist provider during testing, examinations and procedure(s) when needed.Follow provider's instructions to complete patient treatment.Provide and record all medications and immunizations ordered by provider and given to the patient.Take patient specimen and conduct laboratory test(s) ordered by the provider.Stock rooms.Keep supplies ready by taking inventory of stock; communicate to the manager when an order needs to be placed.Perform administrative duties such as answering incoming calls, returning calls, verifying lab and x-ray reports are received.Education:High school diploma or GED required.Experience:1-year previous experience in a clinical or hospital environment preferred.Additional Skills/Abilities:Excellent assessment skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Work independently and effectively in a busy environment.Knowledgeable of EMRs and regulatory practices.
