You will handle claims submissions, denials, appeal processing, and posting payments, while ensuring accurate data entry and timely follow-up with patients and payers. The role requires familiarity with insurance processes, medical terminology, and coding, plus proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable billing and collections for designated payers.
• Submit insurance claims and process denied/denial management.
• Post payments and refunds; monitor AR balances.
• Verify patients' eligibility, coverage, and benefits; identify authorization needs.
• Research denied claims and resubmit appeals or reconsiderations.
• Contact patients regarding collection issues; maintain documentation.
• Perform account adjustments, audits, and status changes.
• Handle multiple tasks and support other AR processes as needed.
