Job summary

Skin Tight MedSpa is seeking a Medical Aesthetician in Newton, MA to provide expert skin treatments and client consultations. You will recommend appropriate procedures, perform microdermabrasion, chemical peels, laser treatments, and related services while maintaining a high standard of customer care.

You will also document client records, take before/after photos, ensure room sanitation, manage supplies, and contribute to inventory control.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid MA aesthetic license.
• Polished appearance with uniform adherence.
• Proficient in all applicable treatments listed.
• Flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional client interactions at all times and relay information about services accurately.
• Document treatment records, take before/after photos, and manage client charts in the system.
• Ensure a sanitized treatment room and stocked supplies; assist in inventory and end-of-day closing procedures.
• Actively discuss and upsell additional services and products to clients.

Job description

The Medical Aesthetician consults with clients to select an appropriate skin treatment or beautifying procedure to improve the look and feel of their skin and facial features.

Job Responsibilities

1. Communication

• Maintain professional client interactions at all times
• Absolute knowledge of all services with the ability to relay information to clients
• Ability to communicate pre and post treatment instructions accurately
• Appropriately resolve client concerns and technical issues as they occur
• Ensure all clients are completely satisfied with their Skin Tight experience

2. Logistics

• Effectively take before and after client photos and document in Symplast Media System
• Correctly document treatment records and save into the appropriate client chart
• Properly sanitize treatment room, equipment and any tools used for treatment
• Consistently restock supplies as needed throughout the day
• Assist in inventory management
• Complete end of day closing protocols and initial closing sheet

3. Time Management

• Confirm treatment room is supplied with all products and tools before welcoming client
• Perform treatments in a timely manner and never allow clients to wait unattended

4. Sales

• Expected to discuss and upsell additional services and products to the best of your ability

Job Requirements

• Valid Massachusetts Aesthetic license
• Polished appearance with proper uniform (see uniform policy)
• Proficient in all applicable treatments
• Experience in microdermabrasion, chemical peels, laser treatments, coolsculpting, radio frequency, microneedling, morpheus, emsculpt neo
• Flexible work schedule including nights and weekends
