Job summary

Personal Healthcare Management LLC is seeking an entry-level finance professional to support Medicaid recertifications, data tracking, and financial document preparation. The role involves weekly updates, data entry, and routine calculations to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.

The position requires strong Excel skills, good communication, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment within an on-site setting in Massachusetts.

Qualifications

  • Entry level with on-the-job training provided.
  • At least 1 year of experience in finance.
  • Strong mathematical, logical and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Contact and assist residents/family with Medicaid recertifications.
  • Enter and update tracking tool for Medicaid recertifications weekly.
  • Prepare financial forms for submission and follow-up.
  • Communicate clearly with clients, coworkers and management.
  • Perform routine calculations and generate reports.
  • Review department budgets and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Enter data for financial spreadsheets and audit statements.
  • Assist in creating financial reports for management.

Education

QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
  • Entry Level - with On-the-Job Training Provided!
  • 1 year of experience in finance
  • Mathematical, logical, and analytical skills; financial management abilities
Responsibilities:
  • Contact and assist residents/family members with the processing of Medicaid recertifications.
  • Enters and updates tracking tool for Medicaid recertifications on a weekly basis and as needed.
  • Process and prepare financial forms for the purpose of submission, follow-up, and correct cases as needed
  • Solid communication skills; both written and verbal with clients, co-workers, and management always.
  • Perform routine calculations and reports.
  • Review and adhere to department budgets.
  • Collect and enter data for various financial spreadsheets.
  • Review and audit financial statements and other documents pertaining to Medicaid.
  • Reconcile any discrepancies or errors identified by conversing with employees and/or clients for cases that fall under the category of Medicaid recertification.
  • Assist the financial director in creating financial reports on a regular basis or when needed
  • Adhere to the company's or organization's financial policies and procedures
  • Attend finance department and company-wide meetings, sometimes assisting with financial reporting to managers and senior executives.

  • Proficient knowledge of Excel, Outlook, and Word,a plus
  • Strong communicator
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Should have a good personality & be able to work well with others
