Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business preferred or 5 years of relevant experience.
• Aptitude for technology.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with Sage Intacct or similar general ledger system.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary support for Medicaid reimbursement issues and compliance.
• Review monthly expenditures for ICFs with proper Medicaid documentation.
• Assist in cost report preparation, settlements, and appeals.
• Plan and manage Medicaid audits; respond to external auditors’ inquiries.
• Prepare monthly journal entries for cost report adjustments.
• Ensure accurate Medicaid cost report settlements and related analyses.
