Qualifications

• 5+ years of compliance and regulatory experience.
• Experience with licensure filings, corporate governance, and contract management preferred.
• Strong technical writing skills and ability to translate regulations into operational guidance.
• Ability to liaise with state regulators and document key discussions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate a high volume of regulatory communications with the state Medicaid regulator.
• Oversee audit deliverables and submission of regulatory deliverables in a timely manner.
• Research health care regulations using WA Administrative Code, Federal Register, and CFR.
• Identify laws affecting health plan operations, including Medicare/Medicaid/ACA rules.
• Review legislative bills for impact to health plan operations.
• Draft summaries of regulatory updates for internal stakeholders.
• Respond to inquiries on regulatory matters from internal teams.
• Coordinate cross-functional meetings and track implementation of requirements.
• Collaborate with legal and regulatory resources to address issues.
• Conduct ad hoc research and draft regulatory operations policies and job aids.
