Job summary

Marsh is seeking a Government Healthcare Provider Rate Consultant to join the GHSC team within People & Investments. The role supports state governments and internal teams to analyze Medicaid health care experience and MCO financial performance, with collaboration across actuaries and executives.

You will perform detailed health care and financial analysis, define project scope, deliverables, budgets and timelines, and help prepare reports and presentations for clients.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in economics, finance, accounting, business analytics, mathematics, statistics, or a related analytical major.
• 3+ years of healthcare financial analysis experience, rate analysis, and provider payment modeling.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and ability to build complex financial models.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive analysis of health care, financial and other detail data using spreadsheet and database management software, with most time spent in Excel.
• Work with client and team project managers to define scope, timelines and deliverables, and prepare the budget and work plans.
• Assist in developing reports, spreadsheets, and presentations for review with clients and internal teams.
• Ensure regular communication with the client to review project status and expectations; manage scope, budget and timelines.
