Job summary

Marsh is seeking a Government Healthcare Provider Rate Consultant to analyze Medicaid health care experience and the financial performance of managed care organizations, collaborating with state governments and internal teams in a hybrid work setting.

You will develop reports, budgets and forecasts using Excel and data tools, ensuring accurate deliverables and client satisfaction. A BA/BS and 3+ years of healthcare financial analysis are required.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in economics, finance, accounting, business analytics, mathematics, statistics, or a related analytical major.
• 3+ years of healthcare financial analysis experience, rate analysis, and provider payment modeling.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive analysis of health care, financial and other data using spreadsheet and database software, with most time spent in Excel.
• Define project scope, timelines and deliverables with client and team project managers; develop budget and work plans.
• Assist in development of reports, spreadsheets, and presentations.
• Ensure regular communication with client to review project status and expectations; manage scope, budget and timelines.
