Job summary

Marsh is seeking a Government Healthcare Provider Rate Consultant to join the GHSC team, blending analytics with client-facing delivery. Base in Phoenix with a three-day in-office requirement under a hybrid arrangement.

You will analyze Medicaid-related financials, model provider payments and support workflow improvements for state governments and managed care programs. Collaboration and technical proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in economics, finance, accounting, business analytics, mathematics, statistics, or related analytical major.
• 3+ years of healthcare financial analysis experience, rate analysis, and provider payment modeling.
• Ability to work on team projects and initiatives in a dynamic environment.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas/functions to analyze data and build forecasting models.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive analysis of health care, financial and other data using Excel and database tools.
• Define project scope, timelines and deliverables with clients and project managers; contribute to budgets and work plans.
• Assist in developing reports, spreadsheets and presentations for stakeholders.
• Maintain regular communication with clients to review project status and manage scope, budget and timelines.
• Leverage AI and technology-enabled tools to improve analyses.
