Job summary

EnableComp is seeking a Provider Enrollment Specialist, Medicaid, to oversee professional and facility enrollment processes for Out-of-State Medicaid payers. This role handles PHI with strict privacy and works to ensure timely, accurate enrollments across multiple states.

Responsibilities include submitting online and paper applications, maintaining enrollment requirements, and communicating with executives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor's preferred.
• 1+ years’ experience in healthcare billing or collections.
• 1+ years’ client-facing/customer service experience.
• Intermediate understanding of insurance payer/provider claims processing.
• Thorough understanding of enrollment requirements and documents needed.
• Knowledge of credentials and licenses (hospital license, NPI, etc.) preferred.
• Equivalent education/experience considered.
• Strong computer proficiency; MS Office experience required.
• Regular and predictable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Collect, verify, and submit information needed for hospital/physician enrollment with Out-of-State Medicaid payers.
• Develop and maintain state-specific enrollment policies and procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of Out-of-State Medicaid enrollment requirements and regulations.
• Submit re-enrollment applications timely to keep enrollment status up to date.
• Establish and review accuracy of Out-of-State Medicaid requirements for compliance.
• Manage work queue to ensure timely submissions to health plans and license updates.
• Maintain provider files and communicate changes, corrections, and terminations.
