Job summary

Ohio Department of Children and Youth seeks a Medicaid Health Systems Specialist to monitor, evaluate, and support Medicaid-related projects for PCSAs. You will work independently and with cross-functional teams, collaborating with policy experts and IT to implement state-wide changes.

The role focuses on health administration, data analysis, and program guidance for youth served. Requires an RN license or related background, plus strong attention to detail and stakeholder training abilities.

Qualifications

• Current and valid license as registered nurse (Ohio) or equivalent licensure as required; 24 months' related experience may be substituted.
• Undergraduate core program in business administration, social/behavioral science, health or statistics; 24 months’ related experience acceptable in lieu of licensure.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Medicaid-related projects and programs; evaluate and support.
• Analyze complex statistical, financial, and program data; review federal/state regulations.
• Collaborate with technical staff, policy experts, partner agencies, and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with ODM, DODD, DYS, DCY Policy team, IT; support policy changes in statewide systems.
• Prepare position papers, research documents, and monitoring reports.
• Review and implement Medicaid rules affecting youth under 21; provide training as needed.
