Job summary

The Ohio Department of Children and Youth seeks a Medicaid Health Systems Specialist to oversee and evaluate Medicaid-related projects, focusing on PCSAs. You will work independently and with cross-functional teams, interfacing with policy experts, IT, and partner agencies to ensure program success.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, analytical reporting, and effective collaboration across departments to support youth-focused Medicaid initiatives.

Qualifications

• Current and valid nursing license as registered nurse (RN) or equivalent licensure.
• Undergraduate core program in business administration, social or behavioral science, health or statistics.
• 24 months of experience as Medicaid Health Systems Analyst may be substituted for the required experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, evaluate, and support Medicaid-related projects and programs.
• Collaborate with technical staff, policy experts, partner agencies, and stakeholders.
• Provide consultative expertise, technical assistance, and training to internal and external partners.
• Coordinate activities among agencies implementing Medicaid policy related to PCSA involved youth.
• Prepare position papers, research documents, and evaluation summaries.
