Job summary

Qualifications

• PharmD or equivalent experience.
• Licensed pharmacist in the state (Texas).
• 7+ years of managed care pharmacy experience.
• Knowledge of medication use evaluation (MUE) principles.
• Drug information skills.
• Strong analytical abilities.
• Experience with word processing, spreadsheets and relational databases.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to perform long computer entry sessions.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate professionally to resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead pharmacy strategy execution for the Medicaid health plan.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and manage quality withhold/penalty programs.
• Oversee financial performance and stakeholder engagement.
• Improve member and provider experience within the plan.
• Partner with enterprise clinical and pharmacy operations to deploy consistent strategy.
