Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Data Science, Public Health, Economics, Epidemiology)
• Minimum 5 years of experience with large-scale healthcare administrative or claims data
• Direct experience processing and analyzing Medicare, Medicaid, or other claims data
• Direct experience with pharmaceutical pricing data or related data sources
• Experience using SQL, Python, R and/or other data analysis tools
• Knowledge of data analysis and data management techniques
• Experience applying SAS in health or social sciences
• Knowledge of advanced analytic techniques such as machine learning (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Extract, recode, merge, and de-duplicate datasets for analysis
• Conduct outlier analyses, manage missing data, and create derived variables
• Perform statistical analyses to support research and reporting needs
• Generate customized reports summarizing data analysis results
• Produce data listings, summary tables, and data collection outputs
• Provide technical oversight and training to junior SAS programmers
• Debug and revise code by identifying and resolving errors
• Write and maintain documentation for code and technical specs
• Prepare technical reports and contribute to proposal development
• Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned
