Job summary

Conduent is seeking a Configuration Manager to oversee and maintain software/hardware/system configurations, ensuring accurate tracking, compliance, and smooth change management. The role involves audits, version control, and coordinating with the client for proper release documentation.

Requirements include several years of Medicaid-related configuration management, familiarity with MITA 3.0 and CMS funding conditions, and ITIL-style practices.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years of experience in configuration management of Medicaid or Major Health Care Payer projects.
• Three (3) years of experience using configuration management tools and software.
• 3+ years of experience with modifying and maintaining configuration of Medicaid or Medicare systems.
• Working knowledge of Medicaid Transformation Initiative, MITA 3.0, and CMS Conditions for Enhanced Funding.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or similar field; or equivalent work experience.
• Working knowledge of ITIL Service Configuration Management methodology. ITIL Certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Serve as the point of contact for Configuration Management activities during DDI and Operations.
• Define configuration management process and procedures.
• Manage version control of the solution, documentation, and other project artifacts based on system changes.
• Maintain an inventory of all artifacts that are created or maintained for the client.
• Manage configuration identification to establish relationship between software, hardware, and documents.
• Conduct regular audits and report findings to ensure components are properly configured and compliant.
• Obtain client approval of solution versions prior to release and ensure documentation is accurate.
• Ensure documentation is accurate, current and accessible to team members, stakeholders and agency staff.
• Manage the configuration project team members for onboarding, training, and task assignments.
• Provide regular updates on configuration management efforts.
• Submit performance and status reports.
• Reports to Systems Manager
