Job summary

The Delaware County Board of Developmental Disabilities (DCBDD) seeks a Medicaid and Funding Manager to lead waiver administration, fiscal oversight, and payment processes. You will supervise pricing and staff, collaborate with internal and external partners, and ensure regulatory compliance across Ohio programs.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in Medicaid Waiver services; a Master’s is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and five years of experience with Medicaid Waiver services; Master’s degree preferred; equivalent combination acceptable.
• Service and Support Administration Supervisor Certification preferred or ability to obtain at time of appointment.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license and acceptable driving record per Board’s insurance carrier.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the agency Medicaid Manager, overseeing waiver administration, fiscal analysis, payment authorizations, and local funding utilization.
• Supervise Assessment Specialists and Funding Specialists as assigned and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with SSA Supervisors, providers, and internal teams on PAWS, billing, enrollments, and redeterminations.
• Maintain knowledge of Ohio Administrative Code, ORC, and waiver-related regulations.
• Provide technical assistance for payment authorizations activities and ensure accurate, timely reporting.
• Manage waiver allocations in collaboration with senior leadership and program directors.
• Prepare for hearings and participate in reviews and audits related to waiver services.
