Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of experience as an Income Maintenance Caseworker or equivalent.
• Knowledge of NC FAST and income maintenance programs preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret complex regulations and policies.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Receives and processes LTC program applications per NC FAST rules.
• Interview applicants to determine eligibility and verify information.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of policies and procedures and manage case files.
• Perform casework for Private Living Arrangement and Long-Term Care Medicaid.
• Coordinate with interagency staff and community partners to provide services.
