Job summary

Myers and Stauffer seeks a Manager to lead Medicaid payment design and documentation for state agencies. You will drive methodologies for hospitals, physicians, and clinics, and oversee UPD demonstrations and financing structures.

Responsibilities include guiding state plan amendments, CMS responses, and multi-year fiscal projections, while mentoring analysts and conducting client-focused communications with state staff and CMS partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Experience in healthcare reimbursement or Medicaid policy.
• 5+ years in Medicaid or healthcare reimbursement, including financing work.
• Knowledge of non-federal share, taxes, and intergovernmental transfers.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, calculation, and documentation of Medicaid payment methodologies.
• Develop upper payment limit demonstrations and funded arrangements.
• Model directed and supplemental payments with related financing sources.
• Draft State Plan Amendments and CMS responses.
• Analyze impacts on non-federal share, federal match, and provider net position.
• Mentor analysts and manage engagement timelines and budgets.
