Job summary

ICL is seeking an Entitlements Specialist-Coordinator to support Integrated Services. The role processes Medicaid eligibility, maintains case records, and communicates with agencies to secure benefits for residents.

This position requires strong written and verbal communication, meticulous documentation, and collaboration with Billing and clinical teams. The incumbent will develop monthly entitlement tracking, manage documentation, and participate in trainings to stay current with policy

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in social/human services or entitlement-related work a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent education.

Responsibilities

• Process entitlement services and maintain client records.
• Support Medicaid eligibility and related enrollment activities.
• Communicate with agencies (HRA, NY State, SSA) for client eligibility.
• Maintain monthly entitlement records and billing documentation.
• Coordinate with Billing and Integrated Services staff on case management.
• Provide entitlement counseling to residents and clinical staff.
• Attend entitlement trainings and apply updated policies to cases.
