Job summary

MITRE CMS Programs Division is seeking a senior technical leader to guide Medicaid enterprise systems certification, data integration, and privacy/security practices across CMS programs. You will collaborate with CMS, state agencies, and contractors to address complex MES certification, data sharing, and health IT modernization challenges.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 8+ years with a Master’s; or 5+ years with a PhD.
• Demonstrated subject-matter expertise in Medicaid domains (eligibility, financing, managed care, waivers).
• Experience in MES certification or recertification activities.
• Ability to translate policy and technical inputs into actionable recommendations for federal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical expertise on MES certification and health IT modernization.
• Coordinate cross-agency data-integration initiatives with federal/state partners.
• Elicit and document stakeholder needs, translate into clear requirements and priorities.
• Assess designs for security, privacy, compliance, and risk; propose mitigations.
• Develop and execute data-sharing and security agreements (CMAs, IEAs, ISAs).
• Translate Medicaid policy requirements into analyses and decision materials.
