Job summary

Public Consulting Group LLC (PCG) is seeking a senior Medicaid Consultant to guide state and federal projects, leveraging CMS, SMC/OBC, and MES experience. You will oversee scope, schedule, quality, risk, and stakeholder communications while coordinating with clients, vendors, and teams to deliver outcomes on time.

Hybrid role with travel/onsite requirements across state programs. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in project oversight, experience with Medicaid systems, and strong communication

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience performing project oversight and assessments for a large enterprise IT initiative
• 4+ years experience performing performance metrics measurements and reporting to management and exec level staff
• Demonstrated experience with SMC/OBC requirements and MES
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders and lead in a matrixed environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools; data analytics capabilities

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and direction for Medicaid projects, ensuring scope, schedule, quality, communications, risk and stakeholder management
• Conduct Medicaid System Assessments and support SMC/OBC activities
• Lead client and vendor collaboration to achieve project goals and timely results
• Facilitate meetings, document issues, and report progress to executives
• Monitor budgets and timelines, escalate risks and develop contingency plans
