Job summary

Random Bit is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to collaborate with Enterprise Architects on enterprise system modernization spanning the Medicaid domain. The role involves analyzing business processes, documenting requirements, and shaping implementation impacts to improve architecture, capabilities, and outcomes.

The position can be remote with EST hours (8am-5pm). It is a full-time W-2 with full benefits.

Qualifications

5+ years proven working experience in business analysis.
Certification such as CBAP or PMI-PBA.
Proficiency in requirement gathering techniques, process modeling, and documentation.
Strong knowledge of tools like MS Office, Visio, JIRA, Confluence, SPARX/EA, Draw.io.

Responsibilities

Interview SMEs, technical staff, architects to gather requirements and opportunities for modernization.
Serve as thought leader for business and technical processes analyzed.
Create and maintain detailed BRDs, process flows, use cases, and user stories.
Capture business, information, and application models from sessions and analysis.
Evaluate requirements in light of architectural impacts to business and data exchange.
Prepare outlines to manage stakeholder expectations.
Produce clear documentation and visuals for analysis results.
Conduct QA on completed deliverables.
