Job summary

Meduit is hiring a Medicaid Eligibility Representative to work onsite at our Atlanta facility. You will connect uninsured patients with Medicaid and other funding, guiding them through applications and gathering paperwork while coordinating with government offices to determine eligibility.

The role runs 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday, with a base pay of $19–$23 per hour. Join a supportive team focused on improving patient access to benefits and services.

Qualifications

• 1 year of call centre experience (in-office or Remote)
• High School Diploma/GED
• Experience with electronic health records or similar software
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• May work occasional evenings and Saturdays

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the portfolio of applicants with support staff
• Work as a team player to meet both personal and group or office goals
• Conduct financial fact-finding interviews with patients seeking Medicaid or other benefits
• Complete Medicaid and other applications/releases
• Monitor applicants eligible for Medicaid or other financial assistance or coverage plans
• Enter clear and concise notes in required patient accounting systems
• Ensure all supporting documents, including applications and receipts, are obtained and filed timely
• Adhere to all policies and procedures and understand company handbook
• Adhere to all relevant regulations related to federal, state and local government programs and client compliance
