Job summary

Meduit is seeking a Medicaid Eligibility Representative (Bilingual) to connect uninsured patients with funding at our Suburban Hospital site in Bethesda. You will assist patients with applications, gather paperwork, and coordinate with government offices to determine eligibility.

The role is 8am–4:30pm ET, Monday–Friday, onsite at 8600 Old Georgetown Rd, Bethesda, MD. Compensation ranges from $19–$21 per hour base, with full benefits and paid training through Meduit Health Systems.

Qualifications

• 1 year of previous call center experience (In-office or Remote)
• High School Diploma/GED
• Bilingual in English & Spanish
• Experience with electronic health record or similar software program
• Proficiency with PC-based applications (Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel)
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• May work occasional evenings and Saturdays

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the portfolio of applicants with support staff
• Work as a team player to meet personal and group/office goals
• Conduct financial fact-finding interviews with patients seeking Medicaid or other benefits
• Complete Medicaid and other applicable applications/releases
• Monitor applicants eligible for Medicaid or other financial assistance
• Enter clear notes in patient accounting systems in hospitals and Meduit Health Systems
• Ensure all supporting documents, including applications and receipts, are obtained and filed timely
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and the company handbook
• Comply with regulations related to government programs and client compliance
