Job summary

JobAps is seeking a Lead Worker for the Maryland Department of Health in Baltimore to support the Medical Care Program by coordinating Medicaid eligibility data within the MMIS systems. Qualifications

• Three years of clerical experience applying policies in a medical care, health insurance or federal or State entitlement program.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to interpret and apply Medicaid eligibility rules.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate operational functions for Medicaid eligibility data in MMIS.
• Review, interpret, and verify data in the MMIS Recipient Eligibility sub-system.
• Provide training and guidance to Medical Care Program staff and conduct QA reviews.
• Liaise with hospitals, Social Security Administration and LDSS regarding Medicaid eligibility requirements.
