Job summary

The role acts as a liaison between patients, the hospital, and government agencies to support case management.

You will verify benefits, file applications, gather medical documentation, update records, and participate in ongoing training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required, or related experience.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• Minimum one year related healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients for insurance coverage and assistance programs.
• Re-verify benefits and obtain authorizations after treatment planning.
• Obtain medical evidence and documentation for eligibility.
• Complete and file applications; follow up with patients and agencies.
• Enter insurance, demographic and eligibility data into the system and document notes.
• Participate in required training and follow office policies.
• Travel for field visits as necessary with reliable transportation.
